SMOOTHIE LOVE | what I love about it

I wanted to give smoothies a chance. I'm not a huge fan of thick gooey drinks but I realised it's positive points and how convenient it all sounds so I bought myself the most affordable and functional blender, though not a vitamix, I thought that I needed to prove that I actually would use the blender.

THE POSITIVES

It's very easy to batch prepare stuff and put them in the freezer. Plus unlike juicing (or at least my juicer that comes with about 5 different parts I have to wash after the fact), a blender is so much easier to wash. Right after blending I pour water into it and give it a blend and washing it is so quick and simple.

FAVOURITE BASE:

Greek Yoghurt
Coconut Water
Soy or Plant Based Milk

My favourite form of veggies to add into the mix are leafy baby spinach and baby kales! They taste great.

And of course soft bananas add a lovely sweetness to the mix and frozen raspberries add a beautiful colour and fresh taste.

I freeze leftover fruits or veggies in these little containers.
